nothing much!

no new nail designs this past week. OMGoodness! i've had the same design on for a week!!! holy poop! the design help up pretty well until i started playing legos with my stepson tonight. i will see what i can come up with for tomorrow......i really want to try to water spotted technique that i saw last week.....i will give it a whirl this weekend.

anyways at sallys today i saw the china glaze collection called "tranzitions." it is polish that changes color with topcoat. i am not to fond of it. apparently it has been out for a couple weeks but i dont frequent sally's that often )only when i start to run out of my seche) so i usually happen to miss the "cool" new fad in polishes. another blogger did a review of the collection that can be found here. i personally will not be spending money on this collection....ESPECIALLY since the last chine glaze polish that i bought (black crackle) totally dried up in a little over a year. (im more of a finger paints fan anyways.) <~ speaking of which, if anyone can point me in the direction of the finger paint flakies, id appreciate it since i was only able to get my hands on one bottle when it first came out.

also speaking of finger paints, they too have a new collection called candy coated. apparently people have not taken my advice and bought the martha stewart micro beads which do the same thing and cost less than buying all of the different color bead pots from beauty supply places. i think when i got mine awhile ago i only paid $11 for 12 colors of micro beads. i dont use them that often anways because as many of you know, they never stay on for more than a couple hours since no topcoat is applied (without it looking like a real jar of caviar instead of like sprinkles which is you are going for that look, use the gel topcoat that you have to cook under the uv light).

alright i guess im done rambling for now

fox racing and beetlejuice

i have to start by saying that i havent been update much because somehow, my google password was changed. someone hacked my account and changed my password. i have a pretty good idea of who it was but after a couple setting changes (that the hacker didnt get to) my password is no longer able to be changed w/o me getting a text first. and like on facebook, anytime a creeper tries to log on from an unknown location, i also get a text. NOW ANYWAYS....

i can't remember where i saw beetlejuice nails at originally but i had a picture of them saved to my computer....but i tried to copy them and it didn't turn out very well. i didnt have the right color green for his hair (guess i need to head to the craft store and get more paint colors!) so instead of looking like beetlejuice, he looks like the joker from batman. LOL. well at least i tried! but of course, as always, started with a blank (white) canvas. i sponged my pointer and pinky and painted on a bat and beetles. inspiration pics below.

INSPIRATION BELOW!

END

after i wore beetlejuice for a day, he started chipping (i'm outta seche and need a sally's run!!!!!) so i got annoyed and took it off. i found a fox racing nail design on my pinterest feed and wanted to try it. although i'm not really into the fox racing scene, i still wanted to try it. i'm not a poser like everyone else around where i live.
i used the ziploc bag technique. ya know, then one where you put randomly placed dots on your nails and the smoosh them all together with the ziploc bag? yea, i was trying something new. got a buncha other techniques that i want to try out as well. but the end result from the baggie is kind of like a pink and gray cammo-ish thing.

my thumb isnt anything special. i am out of nail glue so i didnt want to put rhinestones on. instead i just threw on some pink penguin glitter (seen here) and called it a night.

more designs

this is what i have been up to lately.....i got some more new juleps too. YAY! im not sure if i have them posted in the order that i have done them. i guess that is my punishment for not updating on a regular basis (when i do each design). i DO know that i haven't taken the snowflakes off my toes. but lately i was taking the lazy way out....using nail shields that are "supposed" to stay on for 10 days (but only last 2), plain glitter, tattoos.....then again, ive been busy busy transferring schools, bmd (again), and more personal stuff that i can't mention due to creepers so sorry peepers!

anyways, recently i saw this nail stamper at the dollar store and bought it. i haven't tried it yet. i wish it came with stamping polish!!!! i tried to find a picture of all the plates but i gave up the search online so if i remember, i will takes pics with my camera.

snowflakes and swirls

okay the little beads didnt stay on that long. a couple hours before i picked them off and put glitter on instead.

again i am easily amused and my polish peeled off perfectly

plain jane. i wanted to use a new color santa brought me. it was one of the new juleps and it has a kind of jelly like finish.

actually, the stars are body tattoos that me niece got me.

my pointer was supposed to say queen of rock but i put them on wrong and instead it ended up saying rock of queen.....again, duh me

current design. i was looking online at pink designs and my stepson picked the pink fade zebra. and he was intrigued with everything in my nail arsenal. he wanted to see what i used the straws for so i showed him. it was a collaborative design.
