sooooooooooooooo i guess i will just work on uploading the pictures that i still have on my phone until i can find a replacement screen for my laptop.

okay the reason that i havent been updating is because i broke my laptop screen (with a pencil) while i was doing school work. all of my pictures are on there and i cannot wait to get it back! i miss it :(

 but it has been busy at the home front otherwise. i have done lots of designs!

it's the start of my halloween season! YAY! sooooooo kick off with the nail designs! 

cherry blossoms

red and white gradient. i wore these for my hubby's 10 year high school reunion. of course i was wearing red and black...like always. but YAY all of my uber short broken nails grew back

GIANT hearts

hearts. big ones. i did these for a photo shoot that i can't post the pictures of because i dont have the cd yet....but it was super fun!! (it was a military themed boudoir.) 

gradient leopard

okay these are horrible. they were not supposed to look like this. what was supposed to happen was gradient over crackle, which looks really neat but for some reason, it didnt turn out. i did the gradient with the sponge thing that is all over pinterest (painting the stripes on the sponge and sticking it on your nail) and that way took me longer than the way i usually do it and i think the way i usually do it looks better. and i didnt want to do the leopard and zebra but they looked worse with out it than they did with it. soooo...UGH.

scrabble tiles. LOVE. so easy 

retro cherries

YES they are supposed to not have clean lines. they are supposed to look they way i did them......kinda retro. kinda vintage. again, the original pic is found under the hair, nails, and makeup board on my pinterest.

animals

did sharks for shark week. at first they looked like angry moles because i didnt have the white of the belly painted on. took me a day to figure out what was missing. 

and these were supposed to be frogs buuuuuttttttt looked like alligators

it's been awhile.....

...but i have done a lot of designs. some of them were flops but oh well. i will still post them. im going to post them in the order that i did them or at least the order they were uploaded to my facebook and instagram. and FYI, most of the designs that i did are on my pinterest.

the very hungry caterpillar

theme in my room for the week is butterflies and caterpillars so of course i had to do these nails. the kids thought they were awesome, despite the flaws (smeared). next weeks theme.....plants/grass/gardens (what makes them grow). no clue what i am going to do for that. 

"don't let anyone ever dull your sparkle"

 pink sparkle nails with a balloon on the thumb. they have special meaning and i did them to wear with the shirt i have on in the last picture. my cousin in florida passed away and the saying on the shirt was something that she always said. there was a benefit walk in florida for her (scholarship fund) and my mom sent me a shirt. YAY

leather finish. disco ball.

no clue what look i was going for but this only lasted for about 2 days. i am still picking glitter out off my yoga mat and outta the carpet in my classroom. but YAY for sparkles!!! 

dry marble

dry marbling. i wasnt sure what colors i wanted to use. well, i know what colors i wanted to use. my usual go to colors (red, black, white) but figured they wouldn't mix well together and hey, what the hell, its summer so pick something bright for once STEPHANIE! soooooo yellow, green, pink, and white it was.

i used the technique that is all over pinterest. yall know, the one where it is done on the baggie, peeled off, and cut to fit the nail. HOWEVER, it took FOREVER for the polish to dry. i had work in the AM soooooooo being impatient, i ripped the polish off the baggie and ripped some of it but oh well. i still put it on. 

im a slacker

wow, again it has been awhile. again, my excuse is work, bringing work home, school, working out, and forgetting. so here is what i have been up to....


beachy....i hate the beach. i despise the sand, sun, surf, and sharks so idk why i did this design. it got messed up a bunch of times. i shoulda just taken it off. i was helping hubby carry in groceries real fast so we wouldnt miss fireworks from a local church festival while watching true blood. anyways, enough complaining. here they are.
