holy crapola!

holy moly it has been forever since i have been on here. sorry creepers and peepers! havent been up to much of anything. finals are finally done and over for this semester. guess who got another 4.0 this semester.....YAY me! anyways, one would think that with so much free time on my hands during break that i woulda been pumping out nail designs left and right. well, wrong. i have only painted my nails probably 4 times so far this month.....im not too motivated. ive been sick which today is my last day of meds. ive been cleaning like crazy and wrapping gifts and making cookies and baby mama drama so i will wait to paint them until saturday when all the christmas parties start.

so here is what i have been up two with my last 2 designs....

alright...here we go with some christmas nail art. bah humbug! i'm not a red and green color combo fan. those colors are down right awful together! should be red and black. but i'm not a christmas fan.....actually im not a winter holiday fan at all, unless it's st. patty's day!!! i'd much rather it be halloween every day

enough ranting...

hubby's military christmas party was this past weekend. i ordered a dress off amazon and did my nails to match the dress. it was white with black polka dots on the top, red in the middle with a big red flower, and black with white polka dots on the bottom. very pinup looking. and very much my style since it was red, black, and white. i HAD to have this dress so i measured myself and bought it based off my measurements. it came in the mail the next day and was HUGE :( but i did my nails and didn't have time to redo them after the dress came. searched through my closet and only one dress in it fit me. guess i need to go shopping.......ANYWAYS, here are my fingers and toes. my toes are still wearing the same design

apparently i didn't save the inspiration for this design. dang it.....

my hubby's truck is broken down (after dropping over $800 into it) so his friend was here to take a gander at it. he brought his lady friend, jen, with him and she wanted her fingers done. so here are her christmas tree nails....i realized that after she picked a design that i had saved on my computer that i do not have and basic green nail polish. it is either bright green or "zombie" green...guess i need to head to the store!!!

***INSPIRATION*** 

i took inspiration below from a blog that i follow called purple castle. however they look different now. i started them last night and finished them this evening. the snowflakes now have blue glitter in the middle and small snowflakes around them. i changed mine a little so they werent carbon copies

the blue before i finished the left hand tonight. 

and i know my cuticles look horrible! i got into a fight with my husky. well not really a fight and i guess i deserved it because i was trying to remove a shirt that i put on her and she didn't want anything to do with it so she bit the crap outta me and ripped off cuticles. THANKS LOKI

i made hk into a zombie like i said i was going to. just sponged on some green and added some blood. nothing spectacular.....

told yall i would update this weekend. finally done with my school work thats due tomorrow...finally done halloween crafting for the day (i ran outta glue sticks for my glue gun)....finally done cleaning for the weekend...so yeah, i havent been up to many new nail designs. as i said, i really want to start doing halloween designs. i might do one on tuesday if i can get my wednesday school work done tomorrow. lol does that make sense??? it does to me.....

^red and wine ombre. yes it looks black but for those of you who don't know, the wine polish color is a dark dark dark reddish/purple^

i got some free nail wraps in the mail and wanted to try them out. it said they are to last 10 days and well, they didn't. i even sealed the edges with nail glue. i guess they would last 10 days if you didn't have to type, clean, do dishes, wash your hair....ya know, live your life. im not going to mention what brand they are since they are not getting a good review. also, most of the sizes that came in the packs were either toooooo big or tooooo small. i guess i have odd shaped nails. idk. but the leopard and zebra are nail wraps. as i said, i wanted to test them out and i was pressed for time.

i have a black kitty. his name is koda. i suck at painting eyes but the droopy eyes look like my kitty's even though i wasn't going for sleepy eyed koda.

of course, some hk on the toes. it wont stay on long because they will soon be outta season....unless i paint green faced zombie hello kitty! <~ a very good possibility!

my glass bead nails. i used the gel polish top coat and cooked it under my UV light. didnt like how it looked that way with the gel so i picked it off and tore the crap outta my nails the next day

eye shadow splatter design. i need brighter pigments. any suggestion?

speaking of graduation, here is my cap! it was an iron on transfer that wouldnt iron on so i had to glue each stone on, one by one, with craft glue. it took my 2.5-3 hours and it took my stepson 2 minutes to knock half the stones off today :( very upsetting

but yay! graduated college!!!!!

what i did today. i used finger paints color gogh red! and all that glitters (on etsy) called hole hearted. cant tell in the pic but the red is more pinkish than red and has glitters in it. the hole hearted is a gelish like clear with black and white glitters.

i also got some new polishes online from whimsical ideas by pam. i got hatched and seuss. i took pics of them but hubby had to delete them off my camera because i forgot to put my memory card in my camera before graduation :(

 so this is more of whats been going on recently.....i got a new hk shirt that i wore last week to school so of course i had to do hk nails to match....i used my matte topcoat. ive been into matte lately....the bows are clay things that i bought from ebay awhile back. i took a short cut...

i saw the below nails on s blog somewhere but i cant remember where. wanted to give it a try....however after i painted the black lines on, i wasnt feeling it anymore so i did something easy peasy to my other hand so i could go to bed....i guess i'll call them 'date night" due to the kissy face, tux, corset, and hearts....the original design i saw didnt have the corset...and btw, my black is awfully dry...i need to get a new one :/

the below polish is something i recently got in the mail. i cant remember the etsy shop i got it from...but i think it was all that glitters. i have to add that this is my first jellyish polish and im not too thrilled with the jelly fad going on...it turned brown when i stuck little jewel hears on it and it was hard for me to get it off. but the big hexagon glitter is cool. i havent gotten a heart outta the bottle yet, like this pic, hence gluing my own on.

sneeze breeze is awesome! i saw it and instantly fell in love. it shipped uber quick too! but anyways, the glitter isnt overly sparkly although it is a little bright change compared to my black and white designs that i do all the time. it is a thicker polish due to all the glitter but i had no problem applying it at all! just fingers crossed it comes off as easily when i remove it!

the below pic is sneeze breeze over white polish. 2 coats of the glitter. i added the above hexagon/heart polish over top..not getting any hearts after digging for awhile. i gave up and just said heck with it. but yeah...sneeze breeze and the glitter posted up above. 1 coat white, 2 sneeze breeze, and like 3 of the hexagon.

i also have to add that i have been patiently (insert sarcasm) waiting to get my hands on these polishes and put my name on the wait list like everyday w/o hearing any good news :( if anyone can point me in the right direction to get them i'd be soooooooo thankful!
