 Just trying out some new polishes. 

The chrome is new polish. It is called push and shove. It came with a special base coast that is needed to apply before the polish to make it chrome. It didn't last that long on my nail tho since a top coat couldnt be used. 

Testing out the purple. The purple on all my fingers is the same color. I put purple-ish blue glitter on the nails along with stars. 

The grocery store I go to has a make-up buy out and it was all $1! So I picked up 4 new colors. The orange is gel like and has a matte finish. It chipped A LOT in the time of 1 day so needless to say, I took it off any probably won't be using it very much.

this polish i got at the dollar store. i really wanted it for the glitter because, well, it's pink!

didn't have much to work with when i did the red with flowers. i was at my inlaws and only had a couple colors and about 1/2 an hour time. 

yellow with pink zebra. i went on vacation to florida to see my family before hubby deployed and i wanted something bright.

gradient leopard

okay these are horrible. they were not supposed to look like this. what was supposed to happen was gradient over crackle, which looks really neat but for some reason, it didnt turn out. i did the gradient with the sponge thing that is all over pinterest (painting the stripes on the sponge and sticking it on your nail) and that way took me longer than the way i usually do it and i think the way i usually do it looks better. and i didnt want to do the leopard and zebra but they looked worse with out it than they did with it. soooo...UGH.

i cant remember when i did these. it was awhile ago. my friend came over and wanted her nails done. hubby was gone for the 3 weeks so we were having a girls' vent session/night. the "scratch" and skull design was on my nails. tutorial below

i of course changed the colors on the one that i did. the color combo one in the picture above did not strike my fancy. the color scheme reminds me of those stupid monster energy drink stickers that "cool" kids think are cool to put on everything they own. <~ can someone please explain that fad to me?

these were my friends nails. she picked a design she saw online but it was blue instead of pink. she liked the matte finish of the bright pink so after a coat of seche there was a coat of matte. i think she is the only person that is more obsessed with zebra print than i am.....maybe

holo ghost zebra

had class last week so after class was over i decided to check out ulta (there isn't one around my house). i found this sweet holo on clearance that i couldnt pass up. and of course when i got home, i had to try it! it was hard to get a picture of it though....

after painting my nails, i decided to get my silver holo out and put some zebra on top of the blue. the silver holo didnt show up holo since it was only one coat but oh well.

was bored watching tv so i did this last night before playing some c.o.d. it didnt last long. if you read my last post, you know why (broken nails, changing tires...). after today they were chipped and ugh so i took it off. sorry for lack of pictures. i took them today after they were all used and abused.

soooooo this is what i have been up to. the first 2 pics were done in a couple minutes for a surprise date night. i couldnt decide if i was going to wear leopard, zebra, black, or red for my dinner date so i just put a combo of all on my nails. ultimately i decided to wear zebra. but these only lasted a day before i started picking it off.

the nails below are my friend's nails. i saw a pic online in my fb news feed and wanted to try it. she wanted bright colors so i grabbed a couple and headed to her boyfriend's house to paint her nails while her bf and my hubby worked on my jeep. i did it by first putting clear on a baggie, then crackle, then more clear. after it dried i picked it off and cut out heart shapes. 

i liked it so much that i decided to do it to my nails too...of course in my trademark red, black, and white colors that i always go to.

and well i was thinking about getting this tool box to put all my stuff in that i have because when someone wants me to go to their house and bring my nail stuff, its getting really hard and heavy to carry all my totes full of junk. the tool box has a handle and wheels so i could just wheel it around. i had it it my shopping cart last time i was at walmart and put it back because i didnt know where to store it in my house. hubby has one in the basement.....maybe i should steal his ;)
