nail night

It was nail night at my house awhile back. My friend came over and wanted Jack on nails. She was growing them out for a month just to get Jack. Yep, my straight lines are not so straight. I need to replace the paint in my bottle. Oh well.

After I finished her nails, I painted butterfly wings on mine. I used the saran wrap method (dots and smooshing them together).

nothing worth writing home about. 

this was a kit that i got at sephora. im dangerously addicted to that store. but the kit came with the flowers, top coat, and a blueish polish. it came with different flowers....blue ones, red ones, and purple ones. the kit looked cooler that it actually was. was a pain in the but to get the flowers to stay under the polish. in my opinion, it is better suited for acrylic, which i refuse to put on my nails.

so i got this foil from a kit at walmart. one kit was black polish with silver foil and the other was blue with gold foil. it was only a couple bucks so i bought them both to try them out. my review? ehhhh....

lalaloopsy. i love the colors of this character. red. pink. black. (like mostly everything in my closet.) three of my favorite colors!

it's the start of my halloween season! YAY! sooooooo kick off with the nail designs! 

it's been awhile.....

...but i have done a lot of designs. some of them were flops but oh well. i will still post them. im going to post them in the order that i did them or at least the order they were uploaded to my facebook and instagram. and FYI, most of the designs that i did are on my pinterest.

no clue what look i was going for but this only lasted for about 2 days. i am still picking glitter out off my yoga mat and outta the carpet in my classroom. but YAY for sparkles!!!

i of course changed the colors on the one that i did. the color combo one in the picture above did not strike my fancy. the color scheme reminds me of those stupid monster energy drink stickers that "cool" kids think are cool to put on everything they own. <~ can someone please explain that fad to me?

these were my friends nails. she picked a design she saw online but it was blue instead of pink. she liked the matte finish of the bright pink so after a coat of seche there was a coat of matte. i think she is the only person that is more obsessed with zebra print than i am.....maybe
