its so shiny im gonna die!

okay, i did the first one to match i a skirt that i was going to wear for my friend's 21st bday party but right before i left the house, i decided to change my outfit therefor having to change my nails. 

i scored these chromed out nail hickies at ulta when i was there last. it came with hickies for finger nails and toe nails. best part, they were on sale! ($2.99) i like this brand better than the sally hansen brand BY FAR. they stayed on longer, which out having to put nail glue or polish around the edges. and, unlike the sally hansen version, they are thicker and not in those stupid little air tight containers that once you open, you are screwed if you dont use all of them right away. (in case you are wondering, i have ones that i havent used and not they do not stick, at all, to my nails. so more than half of them from a package are wasted. if anyone knows how to get them to stick again, PLEASE let me know because i dont want to throw them all away.)

the red is my favorite red that i always use from julep. i would probably marry it if i could!

the black is the leather finish from sephora. there was a biker rally in town this past weekend so yeah, the leather was perfect.

strawberries and cherries!

im not that much of a fan of the strawberry ones. my green was all nasty and not the right color. 

you can tell what i was doing when i took the pictures....yep. kicking some noob butt on COD.

these got messed up. only lasted for about a day. i did a photo shoot in water and they got all chipped climbing over rocks and such. and of course, the top coat smeared since i didnt wait long enough for the red to dry. it was an out the door jobie that i did to match the colors i was wearing for the shoot.

this design is on my nails now, but coming off as soon as i am done updating. 

HEY! why you no update?!

well....i haven't updated in 22 days! holy poop! i have a slew of excuses but i will just say: i was busy.
but apparently i did more nail designs in the past 22 days than i thought. they were lazy designs. i will start off with some new colors. i cant remember the order of the designs that i did

but these are colors that i got in my june maven box. also in the box was DD cream, which i do not like. in my opinion, it is too thick. the BB is thin, DD is thick. is there a CC that is the perfect consistency?? but i am glad that i now finally have a regular green polish color.

 i also got new polish from rainbow polish. i got taffy and cupcake. yes, i was in the mood for sweets. the pictures that i took werent that great. i took them at night and the flash was too flashy. the light from the lamps didnt work either. so oh well.

 i had cupcake on my fingers and taffy on my tootsies.

 

 this was just a paint job. i wanted to use those new bright colors i got and try my new glitter (that resembles floam) and i didnt know what color to pick so i picked them all.

serious polish haul!

the weekend was date night since hubby had drill and we were kid free. while in between dinner and the movie we were pissing around at walmart cause really, what else is there to do?? while he was stocking up on stuff for his up coming 3 week AT :( i couldnt help but wonder down the polish aisle. there was nothing too great there, but in the other hba aisles i found these. i was really pissed that these polishes were under $4 and the floam that i bought form ninja polish was almost $10. THEY HAVE ONE IN THE SALON PERFECT BRAND THAT LOOKS EXACTLY LIKE FLOAM!!!!!! i couldnt believe it. so i got all of the other matte glitter polishes that are like floam but different colors. i didnt do swatches on my nails because well, i didnt feel like taking my polish off. 

i am not thrilled with this julep add on. it is supposed to be white (which it is) with little gold glitters in it. well as you can tell from the swatch, no little glitter is showing. really irritates me. i hope the rest of my order comes tomorrow....and i hope they are up to par.
