more designs

this is what i have been up to lately.....i got some more new juleps too. YAY! im not sure if i have them posted in the order that i have done them. i guess that is my punishment for not updating on a regular basis (when i do each design). i DO know that i haven't taken the snowflakes off my toes. but lately i was taking the lazy way out....using nail shields that are "supposed" to stay on for 10 days (but only last 2), plain glitter, tattoos.....then again, ive been busy busy transferring schools, bmd (again), and more personal stuff that i can't mention due to creepers so sorry peepers!

anyways, recently i saw this nail stamper at the dollar store and bought it. i haven't tried it yet. i wish it came with stamping polish!!!! i tried to find a picture of all the plates but i gave up the search online so if i remember, i will takes pics with my camera.

snowflakes and swirls

okay the little beads didnt stay on that long. a couple hours before i picked them off and put glitter on instead.

again i am easily amused and my polish peeled off perfectly

plain jane. i wanted to use a new color santa brought me. it was one of the new juleps and it has a kind of jelly like finish.

actually, the stars are body tattoos that me niece got me.

my pointer was supposed to say queen of rock but i put them on wrong and instead it ended up saying rock of queen.....again, duh me

current design. i was looking online at pink designs and my stepson picked the pink fade zebra. and he was intrigued with everything in my nail arsenal. he wanted to see what i used the straws for so i showed him. it was a collaborative design.

more october goodies!

ugh it is getting harder and harder to keep up! sorry peeps and creeps! here is what i have been up to......the pics are outta order. i did the vampire ones before the ghost and candy ones (which im taking off as i speak or well, type) hence some of the nails being broken :/

edges arent cleaned but oh well....

again unclean edges but oh well again

this year i was a zombie school girl for halloween. i love halloween! it is my christmas and better than christmas!

this is what i have been busy busy planning and why there are not as many halloween designs this year as last year. i was planning a huge halloween/wedding/vow renewal/anniversary party for hubby and i. we never had a wedding so we did for our 5 year anniversary. here are a couple pics of our halloweenish party....

i didnt do my nails by hand or have someone else do them. i used nail wraps due to lack of time. again these ones were horrible. i cant remember the brand tho. all i can say is that i got them from walmart. but the didnt stick very well and even using nail glue around the edges didnt help. however they did work well for my little sister. they fit her nail shape really good and didnt wrinkle or anything at all!

true blood & pink penguin!

okay i said i wanted to do some true blood inspired nails due to the new season starting and i finally did but yeah, i didnt clean up around the edges so oh well but here they are!

AND THE INSPIRATION PICTURES

i got the pink penguin in the mail the other day. my true blood nails were nowhere chipping to take them off but i had to so i could use this glitter. it is black and white glitter with some pink glitter in it. i put it on top of julep annette that i also got in the mail the other day. (btw i can't wait to get the july maven box! check out their maven boxes here!) i got the pink penguin from f4 polish. those women are awesome and have a lot of super cute glitter polishes!

this polish is very easy to apply and goes on very nicely. i used two coats. i also have to mention that the bottle is super cute! the label is glittery and has a big pink rhinestone on it!

im a slacker!

so ive been totally slacking since ive been done with school. i thought things would calm down but i was way wrong. ive been busy busy with my internship through americorp at goodwill planing a summer in the city program for a school and with my summer classes. yes...more classes even though i graduated....but anyways, here is what my nails have been up to lately....

^^^^can finally wear skulls again since im done student teaching^^^

^^inspiration^^

^^that blue with silver and red glitter is seuss from whimsical ideas by pam except i put it over top of white polish so it wouldnt take as many coats to cover and so it would be brighter then i added white stars for memorial day^^

^^i have done this before with eye shadow instead of polish. (1st set done can be seen here.) i was hungry to do something more "complicated" or time consuming.^^

^^another inspiration and i love my northern lights top coat!^^

^^that is something that was a total PITA (pain in the @ss). i didnt have patience waiting for the polish to start to get thick and dry so it was stringy so it kinda ended up looking like cake icing (at least to me) squirted on my nails.^^

^^inspiration. maybe mine would look better on a black base instead of the grayish blue^^

so im sure i will be changing my design tomorrow as i found out tonight that too much of a good thing (seche vite) is a bad thing. when i put too many layers on for some reason it makes the polish on the corners of my nails start to come off my nails then i get irritated and end up picking it off. yep.....sooooo healthy for my nails.....
